Chef Robotics is on a mission to accelerate the advent of
intelligent machines in the physical world. As the rise of LLMs
like ChatGPT has shown, AI has the potential to drive immense
change. However, we believe AI's biggest impact will be in the
physical world, given industries like manufacturing, food, and
transportation represent 90% of global GDP. We're starting with
food, with a goal to put an intelligent robot in every commercial
kitchen in the world. We have signed multiple multi-year contracts
with various large food companies and we are growing fast. We're
backed by investors like Kleiner Perkins, Construct, Bloomberg BETA
and Promus Ventures. We have a great team, where you will be
surrounded by talented engineers and tech leaders from companies
like Cruise, Zoox, Google, Verb Surgical, Tesla, Nuro, Vicarious,
Amazon Robotics, Strateos, Built Robotics, Facebook, Plenty, Yelp,
and Microsoft. As a Lead Recruiter, you'll own recruiting across
all of our teams including sales, software engineering, hardware
engineering, and field operations. Success in the role requires
experience in, and a commitment to, keeping an extremely high bar
for hiring as well as the grit, organization, and indefatigable
nature to build a healthy pipeline of great talent. You should be a
builder and a culture champion who is able to work with a
high-talent team to create a hiring process - and a company - that
supports top talent. Experience recruiting for startups and for
hardware companies is strongly preferred. Key responsibilities:
- Own the entire recruiting process for all roles from end to
end, ensuring high-quality hires by partnering with hiring managers
to develop and execute talent strategies.
- Manage recruiting workflows and establish internal SLAs to
guarantee a seamless, positive candidate experience.
- Develop top-of-funnel strategies, lead searches, and drive the
offer process to successfully close candidates.
- Oversee the ATS (Applicant Tracking System), ensuring clean
pipelines and strong communication at each stage for a high-touch
candidate experience.
- Leverage data and analytics to influence hiring decisions and
implement process improvements.
- Collaborate with executives to develop organizational models
and hiring plans that align with strategic and operational
goals.
- Uphold an exceptionally high hiring standard, ensuring that we
attract world-class talent. Who you are:
- Networked: You have a strong network in robotics, AI, or
mechatronics, especially in the Bay Area.
- Startup Savvy: You thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments
and have experience working in startups.
- Creative & Focused: You excel at sourcing, engaging passive
talent, and getting them excited about solving challenging problems
with a high-caliber team.
- Talent Recognizer: You have a keen eye for identifying
exceptional candidates and know how to attract them.
- Communicator: You possess strong communication skills and can
quickly build rapport and trust with candidates.
- Self-Motivated & Gritty: You're adept at prioritizing and
managing multiple searches simultaneously, driving results in a
fast-paced environment.
- Technically Curious: You quickly grasp new technical concepts
and can credibly engage with engineering experts. Experience in
robotics, AI/ML, or other advanced technologies is strongly
preferred.
- Organized & Ethical: You are highly organized, with a strong
work ethic and impeccable integrity.
- Proven Track Record: You have a history of hiring top talent
across various functions, consistently optimizing time-to-hire.
